    Issue with recorded WMV files?

I used LM 2007 to record a webcast.  The webcast got split up into 2 parts by the recorder (on purpose).  I'm using software like Windows Movie Maker (and tried Blaze Media Pro) to do some edits.

I've loaded them into Windows Movie Maker 2, and was trying to edit the first, then join the 2 together.  When I go to "save movie file", a timer starts to give me an estimate of how long it will take to create the file, but it counts *forever* (999+!).

When I tried with Blaze Media Pro, I had similar estimated time counts that forever increase.

Are there any know issues with saving WMV files within LM 2007 then using them in other editing apps?  By themselves, the files work great in Windows Media Player.

    Hi Marco,

I'll need to check on this one for you, I thought it best to post to let you know I'd seen it! I'm expecting the answer to be something to do with the CODECS being used in LM 2007. I'll get back to you with an answer once I've spoken with some of the folks involved in this area.

Since posting, an MVP pointed this out:

I can post an update later if you're interested. He's helped me resolve some issues.

Thanks for the post and the heads up Marco.  I've been trying out Blaze Media Pro too and quite like it.
