Poor video resolution on "shared desktop"

Our company is upgrading to LM 2007 and we have noticed in testing that when you share a desktop, the applications and images appear low resolution, with strange colors and a pixelated effect for the participant.  Is there a setting to control the resolution and depth of colors for shared applications and desktops?  Thank you.

    Hi HDRScott,

Within the application sharing options you have the ability to change the colour levels. The typical default is 256 colour, and that means that nice graduated fills appear very "steppy". You can change the levels up to 10 million, but, and this is a big but, at a price. You need to remember that the higher the colour resolution the more data is being passed back and forward. Which means that if you have a slow connection the latency would increase.

    I hope this helps?

    Thanks

    Simon
