Integration of separate video and audio inputs--possible?

I'm in charge of organizing a company-wide presentation.  The format will be very simple; we're using live video and powerpoint slides--that's it.  The difference is that I want to use our broadcast camera and audio from our audio mixer's output.  The challenge is having LM recognize the camera input and somehow integrating the audio via line or mic in on the PC's sound card.

Has anyone tried this approach?  I need to make this work somehow. Given the configuration of speakers, audience, and camera location, using a webcam is completely out of the question. Besides, the audio would be unusable.

    Thanks! Craig

    Hi Craig,

There may be an easy way of doing this. Live Meeting has an option called customer frame. This allows you to direct a "spare" window opened up by Live Meeting to a specific URL. So, for example, if you can get your camera to stream through a web url, then you could include that feed so that when a user joins the meeting it pops up.

Also, there is a Live Meeting Developer page where you can get the Live Meeting XML API, I'm not sure whether this will give you what you are looking for but its worth a shot.

    Cheers
